Anonymous User 1:

Since some people want to hear more, I’ll continue.

I have to start from the very beginning of freshman year. The day before school started, both my parents had urgent business trips, so I had to drag my luggage alone, taking the high-speed train from the north to the university, and ended up being late.

A little embarrassing to admit—I’m somewhat directionally challenged. At home it’s fine, but being suddenly in a completely new city, unfamiliar with the place, I really got lost. I arrived at the station around 11 AM and somehow didn’t find the campus until 4 PM.

After rushing through registration, with the help of a senior, I finally found the dorm. When I walked in, the other three were all there. A was playing games, B was sitting close by watching him. When they saw me, both A and B stood up to greet me. A even helped me pull my suitcase, so my first impression of them was pretty good. B was an outgoing type, spoke softly, seemed a bit fragile. C was very cold and aloof—gave me a glance, introduced himself with a “Hi, I’m C,” then went back to what he was doing.

At that moment, C seemed really indifferent, but maybe he just wasn’t very social.

A and B chatted with me quite a lot. I noticed B’s gaze kept sticking on A, but didn’t think much about it and just focused on unpacking.

As we got to know each other better, the four of us started eating together, attending classes, and playing games.

Oh, except B when it comes to games—he really sucks at them. Not kidding, in all my years, I’ve never met someone this bad at gaming. Luckily, he knows he’s bad, usually says he won’t play so he won’t hold us back, then just sits next to A and praises him.

About A—he’s genuinely gentle, polite, and well-mannered. In two years living together, I never saw him angry once. I always thought he’d end up with a girl as gentle as him, but instead, he paired up with B.

B likes to cling to A and act spoiled, but only with him. With the rest of us, he’s just normally soft-spoken.

He’s always calling him “gege” this and “gege” that, and the way he says it is so lively and cute—kind of high-pitched with a drawn-out ending—that it gives me goosebumps.

The key part? A always smiles and replies “I'm here” every time.

Seriously, could he be any more responsive?

As for C, from the start, he didn’t really like hanging out with A and B. When I wasn’t around, he ate alone. Usually, C and I would eat together since I’m lazy sometimes and nap at the dorm; in those times, C would even bring me food.

Since A and B got together, those two always stick together like a pair, and C and I are happy not to be the third wheels.

That’s it for today. C is going to help me rank up in the game—he’s a rare MVP, gotta hold tight to him, hehe.

TurtleCrawling: Is C really good at the game? Big bro, carry me!

Anonymous: He’s really strong at games. I always end up winning by following his lead.

UnknownFishFishFish: Gentle top × spoiled bottom — this ship is everything!

Anonymous: Your ship is legit, completely!

IWantToBuyCola: Why are you such a busybody? Other people’s love lives aren’t for you to gossip about behind their backs. Say it to their faces if you’ve got guts!

Anonymous: Sister, I’m just describing the facts objectively. If you don’t like it, you can close the tab. Also, if you want cola, I’ll pay you to buy it—so stop scolding me.

FlashyNut: OP probably doesn’t know what “buying cola”* means here lol.

StealerOfHearts: I think C realized early on that A and B had something going on and therefore didn’t want to be a third wheel. Only OP is clueless.

Anonymous: Huh? Now that you mention it, that does make sense—C is really smart and sees through things. But why didn’t he warn me? That shouldn’t be, right?

*Buy cola in chinese (买可乐 Mai Ke Le) sounds like "make love".
